The Spark Magazine Nominated For National Magazine Award

Spark Centre is thrilled to announce that The Spark Magazine‘s winter issue “Pivoting in a Pandemic” has been nominated for a National Magazine Award: B2B for Best Issue!

The National Magazine Awards are spearheaded by The National Media Awards Foundation (formerly National Magazine Awards Foundation), a bilingual charity dedicated to promoting excellence in journalism and visual creation. The Foundation produces two distinct award programs: the National Magazine Awards and the Digital Publishing Awards.

Each year the National Magazine Awards program receives over 1000 submissions from nearly 200 different Canadian magazines featuring thousands of literary artists. The program’s 110 volunteer judges award nominations to approximately 200 notable entries which represent over 80 different magazines and more than hundreds of Canadian artists.

The 44th annual National Magazine Awards B2B received submissions from 57 business-to-business publications across Canada and The Spark Magazine is among the finalists!

The Spark Magazine is Spark Centre’s quarterly publication centred around the incredible technology and innovation happening across Ontario’s Eastern corridor as well as the entrepreneurs behind them. With a focus on hot new ventures, business news, and up and coming products and services, The Spark Magazine features businesspeople, entrepreneurs, leaders and companies doing amazing things in the worlds of tech and innovation right in our backyard.
