The Spark, Spark Centre’s quarterly publication centered around the incredible technology and innovation happening in our region, has come a long way since our first issue in 2016!
The Spark — which focuses on hot new ventures, products and services from up and coming entrepreneurs and what’s happening in business and innovation — has seen opportunities arise for many of our featured entrepreneurs, from Axcessiom, Gordon Foods, Grandview Kids and more. And with a ramp up in circulation and distribution, we’re excited to see even more emerging opportunities.
Spark Centre is proud of the growing interest in The Spark and this has catapulted the distribution of our magazine from 500 in 2016 to 10,000 in 2020!
The Angel Investors of Ontario (AIO) will be distributing The Spark to 2000 Angel Investors in Ontario, providing incredible exposure of up and coming tech and innovation in Eastern Ontario to potential investors.
The magazine will now also be distributed to the Ontario Medical Association and to all Lakeridge Hospitals, giving new technology — especially medtech — even more visibility than before.
As well, in addition to distribution to Chambers of Commerce, Economic Development offices and MP offices across the Region, we’re excited that the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) is considering sharing the magazine with its 70,000 members!
What’s even more exciting? We’re thrilled to announce our upcoming Special Interest issue! This issue of The Spark will celebrate businesses in Ontario who have pivoted their operations to assist with the COVID-19 pandemic. With editorial contributions from prominent leaders like Minister Vic Fideli and insight from trailblazers like Dr. Lubna Tirmizi, to extraordinary entrepreneurs, startups and businesses who are making an impact during the pandemic — locally, nationally and globally — this issue will be one to be remembered!
