On May 12th, TechEx drew more than 150 attendees eager to discover and connect with startups from across Eastern Ontario with innovative solutions in the construction, infrastructure and design space!
TechEx is an exclusive showcase of some of the best startups with cutting-edge technology that Eastern Ontario has to offer. It also provides investors and industry leaders to learn more about, and provide feedback on, these innovations as well as to gain and share insight.
The evening kicked off with Spark Centre’s own President and CEO Sherry Colbourne welcoming everyone to a promising evening of collaboration and innovation. Rosemarie Lipman, CIO and SVP, Digital + Data Engineering with EllisDon then shared insight into the latest trends in construction and technology and how EllisDon was merging the two to propel the future.
What followed was an incredible evening of meeting and engaging with ten talented startups with innovations in construction, design and infrastructure. Even though the exhibition was held virtually, attendees were able to visit seventeen captivating booths manned by ten ingenious startups and seven partnering organizations including Spark Centre, CanBIM, Angel Investors Ontario, LiUNA, IBI Group, Launch Lab and Venture 13.
