Excitement is buzzing as Spark Centre as we get ready to welcome international businesses for a two-week soft-landing program at the end of this month. Our Pioneer Program is a two-week immersive program that has been designed to support international businesses interested in relocating to Canada, get a taste for what it takes to do business here.
The program will run from November 25th – December 6th where we will be welcoming technology and innovation companies from Iran, Vietnam and Brazil.
During the two weeks, businesses will go through an intensive, fast track schedule of workshops, events, 1:1s with mentors and advisors to validate their business plan and gain insight into the Canadian market. They will be introduced to the Region of Durham and all that the community has to offer alongside business support.
We are also thrilled to be welcoming back our new partners at GrowthX to deliver some of our workshops. Following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the beginning of October, we have been working closely with the team from Silicon Valley to infuse their industry leading training into our own programming.
