Tulpar Tech is a standout innovator within the Spark Centre ecosystem, demonstrating how practical, field-ready technology can reshape critical industries. The company developed BUYAN Self-Sealing Coating, a breakthrough solution designed to deliver rapid, reliable leak prevention for fuel tanks, pipelines, and other mission-critical infrastructure. BUYAN creates an instant, durable seal on contact, requiring no downtime, no complex tools, and no compromise on performance, even in demanding real-world conditions.

The technology has applications across a wide range of industrial and operational environments, including marine vessels such as boats and ship fuel tanks, UAVs and agricultural drones, and both defense and civilian platforms where trusted fuel integrity is essential. By addressing fuel leaks quickly and effectively, BUYAN helps reduce operational risk, maintenance costs, and environmental impact.

Since landing in Puerto Rico in September 2023, Tulpar Tech has continued to gain traction. In October 2024, the company became the first participant in Spark Centre’s Landing Pad Accelerator Program. More recently, Tulpar Tech received five thousand dollars in funding from NGen in August 2025 to support participation in the EMO Exhibition in Hanover, Germany as part of the Canadian Pavilion, helping expand its international visibility and market reach.

Spark Centre has supported Tulpar Tech’s growth through multiple programs and services, including a Letter of Support through the SUV Client Program, access to Elevate IP funding, pitch deck enhancements through Creative Spark for EOIC presentations, and strategic connections to NGen.
