This year, we were thrilled to partner up with our friends at the Business Advisory Centre Durham (BACD) to deliver 50 events for Do it in Durham 2019! This year, we added our own stream of events that had a focus on technology & innovation – educating local businesses on the emerging technologies, the basics of AI and the future of mobile applications.
Global Entrepreneurship Week is a fantastic opportunity for entrepreneurs to tap into a wealth of knowledge and a vast network of like-minded business leaders. It was particularly great to host a female founder’s panel, bringing together a group of inspiring women who lead businesses, talking honestly and vulnerably about the challenges they face in the world of entrepreneurship.
For the first time ever, we built an app powered by Eventelis, one of our tech & innovation start-ups here at Spark Centre, to host all information pertaining to all Do it in Durham events.
We also hosted our first TechEx where we introduced 20 of our tech and innovation companies that are a part of the community here at Spark Centre. Watch the video below!
