At Startup Grind back in October, the tech and innovation community listened intently as Eva Lau from Two Small Fish Ventures shared her inspiring career journey and entrepreneurial insight.
Eva Lau is founding partner of Two Small Fish Ventures and one of the few women leading a venture fund in Canada. At Two Small Fish Ventures, Eva leverages her experience in building large scale internet companies to help other entrepreneurs build the next big thing. She is also the creator of the ASSET framework which helps entrepreneurs and accelerators to develop their network effect strategies, drive growth and make them more defensible.
Recently, five lucky Spark Centre clients had the opportunity to speak one-on-one with Eva Lau to learn from her expertise, ask questions and get a better understanding of network effects specific to their business.
Here’s what a few of them had to say about their experience!
“Eva outlined two ways for Render Developments to leverage network effects in the future. We are now in the process of implementing her advice. We were thrilled to get face time with Eva!” – Joel Davies, Render Developments
“Eva helped me clear up any misconceptions I had about Network Effects and helped me focus on the atomic unit for Hop In to lay the foundation for our own Network Effect!” – Boyd Reid, Hop In
“In my sit-down with Eva Lau I’ve learned about the power of networks and how it can have a very strong multiplier effect in the value of our business model!” – Kaushik Bhattacharjee, Reipower Inc.
